Tiger Airways offers promo fares from INR 2700 to Singapore

To commemorate its five years of operations in India, Tiger Airways will be offering one-way flights from all six of its Indian cities to Singapore at a promotional fare from USD 50/INR 2700 inclusive of taxes and other charges. 
 
These promotional fares will be made available for sale from 7 March 2013 through 13 March 2013, for travel between 1 July 2013 and 13 November 2013.

Hawaiian Airlines to commence new flights to Sendai from June 25

Hawaiian Airlines plan to start flights to the Japanese city of Sendai on 25 June 2013. Sendai will become Hawaiian’s fifth destination in the country, following Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Sapporo. Hawaiian will operate the Honolulu-Sendai-Sapporo flights using a 264-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
 
Hawaiian’s new Sendai service will connect with its existing service to Sapporo, operating direct from Honolulu to Sendai, and returning via Sapporo.

IndiGo to launch 14 new Flights

IndiGo has announced the launch of 14 new flights on the domestic route. The carrier will operate 6E-its first new daily non-stop flight between Bangalore and Guwahati and between Bangalore and Agartala via Guwahati. IndiGo’s new service is part of the airline’s expansion plan.
 
In addition, 6E will operate its seventh daily flight between Bangalore and Mumbai, sixth daily non-stop flight between Hyderabad and Bangalore, fourth daily non-stop flight between Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

Qantas-Emirates partnership to come effective from March 31

The Qantas and Emirates partnership is set to boost local tourism as international bookings open for 32 Australian destinations including eight locations in New South Wales.
 
The Qantas-Emirates partnership remains subject to government and regulatory approval, and is scheduled to start on 31 March 2013.

Zambia plans direct flights between India and Zambia

With a motive to make Zambia as the next popular tourist destination, Bwalya Lyapa Nondo, acting Deputy High Commissioner of Zambia in India plans to have direct flights between India and Zambia in the near future. Delhi or Mumbai are likely to be the probable Indian destinations for a direct flight.
 
"We want Indian travelers to explore Zambia. It’s a place waiting to be explored. It boasts 19-odd national parks, rich flora and fauna and the scenic Victoria Falls. This apart, political stability along with low crime rates are the major positives that makes it’s a major tourist spot.”

American Airlines and Malaysia Airlines enter codeshare agreement

American Airlines along with oneworld alliance have partnered with Malaysian Airlines to strengthen the alliance's connectivity between key business cities in Asia and other parts of the world.
 
The alliance will allow American's customers to earn and redeem American Airlines AAdvantage miles when traveling on Malaysia Airlines. On the other hand, with the addition of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld will be able to expand its route network and its ability to offer more services and benefits to customers.
