Macau Government Tourist Office Plans to Organize Road show in Kolkata

Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO), India has announced its plan to roll out a series of roadshows in newer growth markets in India, starting from Kolkata on March 8, 2013.  
 
The roadshow is a part of the Macau India’s initiative to drive more tourists to Macau under its wedding incentive scheme and also the student excursion scheme. During these promotions, Macau will showcase its portfolio of tourism products and a line-up of activities that travellers can indulge in while visiting the country.

ATM 2013 Roadshow concludes today, forecasts 67% hike in UAE Tourism

The ATM 2013 road show series concludes in Dubai today after a two-week calendar of educational seminars in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon and Oman. 
 
The road show in Dubai, which was the largest event with 140 delegates, comes at a time when the UAE tourism receipts are forecast to rise by 67% over the next few years.

VisitEngland launches marketing campaign in coastal areas

To further boost domestic tourism in 2013, VisitEngland has launched a new multi-channel marketing campaign by promoting short breaks in some of England’s most spectacular coastal locations.  
 
The campaign is the third of six launching from January to March, covering the four key themes of countryside, coast, heritage and culture, funded in part by the government’s Regional Growth Fund.

TAFI to organize its annual convention in Durban-South Africa from Feb 24

This year, Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) annual convention will be held in South Africa-Durban from 24Feb to 27 Feb. the event will be organized in partnership with Kwazulu-Natal Tourism (KZN) and SATSA (The Tourism Services Association of South Africa).
 
"Durban, in the province of Kwazulu-Natal is an interesting destination. The host country South Africa and airline partner, South-African Airways are playing key role in making this convention a successful event. The other partners for hotel stay during the TAFI convention are Tsogo Sun Group.
